Central Bank Collections in a Small Society
Eiríkur Guðnason, Governor of the Central Bank of Iceland, gave a speech on central bank collections in Iceland at a meeting held by the European Association of Banking and Financial History in Lisbon earlier this month. In his speech, he said that even though the Central Bank of Iceland is only 43 years old, its collection activities have gained recognition in Iceland and elsewhere.
