Fitch Affirms Iceland At AA-/AAA; Outlook Stable

Fitch Ratings-London-4 August 2005: Fitch Ratings, the international rating agency, has today affirmed the Republic of Iceland’s Long-term foreign and local currency ratings at ‘AA-’ (AA minus) and ‘AAA’ respectively with Stable Outlook. The Short-term foreign currency rating is affirmed at ‘F1+’.
