Results of foreign currency auctions
On 26 July 2012, the Central Bank of Iceland offered to purchase euros in exchange for Icelandic krónur for long-term investment in the Icelandic economy, or in exchange for payment in Treasury bond series RIKS 33 0321. The Bank also advertised for bids on the sale of Icelandic krónur for cash payment in foreign currency.

Market expectations survey
In the beginning of 2012, the Central Bank of Iceland began conducting quarterly surveys of market agents’ expectations concerning a variety of economic variables such as inflation. The Bank carried out its third such survey during the week of 13-17 August. Responses were received from 25 market participants.
