Governor participates in 200th anniversary conferences at central banks in Norway

On 16 June, Governor Már Guðmundsson participated in a 200th anniversary conference held by Norges Bank. The conference was entitled: The Interaction Between Monetary Policy and Financial Stability – Going Forward. Towards the end of the conference, the five Nordic central bank governors participated in a panel discussion entitled: The Nordic Experience. The Governor’s introductory remarks focused on movement of capital and systemic risk in Iceland.
